East Manchester is preparing for the second annual Openshaw Festival hosted by Key 103 and taking place at Lime Square, Sporting Edge and Delamere Park on Saturday and Sunday (17th and 18th September).

On Saturday the Key 103 Roadshow will be headed by presenter Darryl Morris after being officially opened by the Lord Mayor of Manchester Cllr Carl Austin-Behan at 11am.

Events will run throughout the weekend with fairground rides, music and entertainment. There will also be a food and craft market and giant games area as well as the Key 103 Media Bus. Sporting Edge will host two days of activities including roller skating sessions.

There will be so much to do including visits from the army, police, fire service and many more other agencies.
