Aimed at young people aged 13 to 19, the youth village provides confidential advice and information on teenage issues.

The Youth Village Van will run across the city in areas where anti-social behaviour has been a problem, it will provide young people with somewhere to go and something positive to do.

We were asked to supply a suitable converted vehicle to travel around Sunderland providing a safe haven for young people.
The vehicle needed to be converted on the inside to carry computers and game consoles.

The converted vehicles interior also required privacy areas along with audio visual displays

We suggested an HGV and after some debate, Sunderland agreed. We decided upon a new Daf chassis with a Fosters Body The vehicle was then specifically designed for the purpose of delivering youth support services.
